FRL's Arduino Basics

Posted by Jason Robinson on

If you have been looking to get started with Arduino, this is the place to start.  Our Arduino Basics blog posts will walk you through the fundamentals of how to program and Arduino (or Arduino-compatible device - they will be used interchangeably) as well hook up some simple circuits.  The basics will not cover any in-depth coding and we believe its a good start to get going with Arduino.  Instead of using photographs to show how to layout the circuits, we will be using diagrams from Fritzing.  Fritzing is an excellent open source program for laying out circuits and you can even order custom printed circuit boards from them.

The Basics Blog will not include any examples that require libraries, as we will get into libraries later on.  This is really a place to begin to feel comfortable using your Arduino and a few parts you probably have lying around.
